Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates at City South Physio is delivered by physiotherapists who tailor every session to your body, goals, and recovery stage. Using specialised equipment, we’ll help you improve posture, core strength, flexibility, and balance. It’s a safe, effective way to support rehabilitation and build long-term strength and resilience.
Overview
At City South Physio, our Clinical Pilates is guided by physiotherapists who understand how to tailor movement safely and effectively for your body. Unlike a generic fitness class, every session is personalised to your health, your goals, and your stage of recovery.
The benefits of Clinical Pilates can extend to almost. From those recovering after injury or surgery, to people managing back or neck pain, athletes looking to improve performance, and those women expecting, or with a new-born baby who want to complete safe, structured exercise. There are too many to list them all, but some of the specific benefits of Clinical Pilates include: improved posture, greater core strength, enhanced flexibility, better balance, and reduced risk of re-injury.
Our Pilates Studio is equipped with high-quality Reformers Beds, and a Trapeze Table. These allow for a variety of exercises that can be progressed, or modified, to match your ability and stage of rehab. These pieces of equipment provide support where needed while also challenging stability and strength in a controlled way.
With your physiotherapist closely supervising each session, you’ll feel confident that you’re moving correctly and safely. Many clients find Clinical Pilates not only supports their rehabilitation, but also becomes a long-term part of staying strong, active, and pain-free.
